The Policy Administrator will have access to a special menu option under Policies called the Work In Progress screen.
In your Work In Progress you will see columns for each policy or regulation that is in draft form.
1. Click on policy tab
2. Select policy and left click
3. Click on pencil and then on work in progress to view window items
Edit — the edit icon will allow you to edit the policies or items in progress.
Code — policy or item that you are working on. If you click on the word “Code” at the top of the column the items will sort by code.
Description — the title that has been given to this policy or regulation
By — the name of the policy administrator who submitted the policy for review.
Status — the status of this particular policy. The possibilities for this column are: Draft, Submitted, In Review, Reviewed. If you click on the word “Status” the items will sort by status type.
Board Review — When the Policy administrator has checked an item as Board Review, the Board members will see it in their Work In Progress. They will not be able to edit the policy, only review it, print it and send comments through public comments screen.
Staff Review — When the Policy administrator has checked an item as Staff Review, this policy will be made available for staff member comments.
Public Review — When the Policy administrator has checked an item as Public Review, this policy will be made available for comment by the public and is placed on the home page of their GAMUT site.
