There are two ways to add a new document — from the Policy Listing screen or from the Work In Progress screen:

How to Add a New HTML Document From the Policy Listing Screen

  1. Hover over the Policies tab
  2. Click on Add New Document link
  3. Choose the option Create a New Document
  4. Choose your Policy Type, Section, Document Type, and code
    Note: Choose a document type that was created as an HTML document.
    Users with permission to access this type and codification can add new sections and codes from the drop-down menus.
  5. Click Add Document
  6. On a new screen, type or copy/paste document information
  7. Click Save and Close, draft document will remain in your Work in Progress

How to Add a New HTML Document From Your Work in Progress Screen

  1. Hover over the Policies tab
  2. Click on Work In Progress link
  3. Choose the Policy Type in the drop-down menu, if necessary
  4. Click on Add New Document link
  5. Choose the option Create a New Document
  6. Choose your Policy Type, Section, Document Type, and code
    Note: Users with permission to access this type and codification can add new sections and codes from the drop-down menus.
  7. Select the descriptor code from the drop-down list
  8. Click Submit
  9. On a new screen, type or copy/paste document information
  10. Click Save and Close, draft document will remain in your Work in Progress
