How to Edit a Section

  1. Hover over the Policies Tab
  2. Click on Policy Type Administration
  3. Click on the Codification icon for the policy type you are working with
  4. On the Codification screen, click on Add/Edit New Section
    Note: A user can click on the settings wheel > Manage Sections to view another option to edit sections.
  5. On Add/Edit Section pop-up click on the pencil to edit a code number and/or name

    Note: Section codes can be changed even if codes are associated with them.
  6. When finished, click Save and Close

How to Delete a Section

  1. Hover over the Policies Tab
  2. Click on Policy Type Administration
  3. Click on the Codification icon for the policy type you are working with
  4. On the Codification screen, click on Add/Edit New Section
    Note: A user can click on the settings wheel > Manage Sections to view another option to edit sections.
  5. On Add/Edit Section pop-up click on the trash can to delete a section

    Note: Section cannot be deleted if codes are associated with them. To delete a section, codes cannot have documents associated with them. For more information on deleting documents, click here.
  6. Confirming deletion by clicking Okay on the pop-up
