There are two ways to add a new document — from the Policy Listing screen or from the Work In Progress screen:
How to Add a New HTML Document From the Policy Listing Screen
- Hover over the Policies tab
- Click on Add New Document link
- Choose the option Create a New Document
- Choose your Policy Type, Section, Document Type, and code
Note: Choose a document type that was created as an HTML document.
Users with permission to access this type and codification can add new sections and codes from the drop-down menus. - Click Add Document
- On a new screen, type or copy/paste document information
- Click Save and Close, draft document will remain in your Work in Progress
How to Add a New HTML Document From Your Work in Progress Screen
- Hover over the Policies tab
- Click on Work In Progress link
- Choose the Policy Type in the drop-down menu, if necessary
- Click on Add New Document link
- Choose the option Create a New Document
- Choose your Policy Type, Section, Document Type, and code
Note: Users with permission to access this type and codification can add new sections and codes from the drop-down menus. - Select the descriptor code from the drop-down list
- Click Submit
- On a new screen, type or copy/paste document information
- Click Save and Close, draft document will remain in your Work in Progress
